Situated in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne, in a green, wooded setting, this small, family-friendly campsite is the perfect base for exploring the sublime landscapes of the Cantal: a mountainous, volcanic region renowned for its gastronomy and its many hiking trails around the Chaîne des Puys. The panoramic views of the Etang du Pioulat at the foot of the campsite, where you can swim, are sure to win over travellers looking to recharge their batteries!

15 days spent in a super pleasant place with a superb view, water point with authorised swimming. Fireworks on 15 August on the lake with decorated floats. Marie, the receptionist, was very friendly and very attentive to the children’s well-being. Very functional chalet, small but everything has been thought of: storage, microwave, parasol, mirror, adapted crockery etc…. Very good stay, I’ll be back.

A real old-fashioned little campsite, inexpensive and quiet in the middle of the countryside. The staff are friendly and ready to help. The small lake below is useful in the event of a heatwave. Ideally situated for Mauriac, Riom ès Montagne and Bort les Orgues.

Great location overlooking a pond, very quiet, a very warm welcome, thank you to the staff sanitary facilities, very clean showers, as an option a superb sunset 💜
